First Dancer of the Ballet of the Opéra National de Paris Vincent Chaillet began classical dance in Metz during Sylvie Arz, then joined the School of Dance of the Opéra National de Paris directed by Claude Bessy in 1995, before joining the Corps de Ballet de l'Opéra National de Paris in 2002 under the direction of Brigitte Lefèvre. Promoted First Dancer in 2009, he then played the main roles of the great ballets of the classical repertoire and was also distinguished by his interpretation of "character" characters.

He is also Artistic Director of the Concours Contemporain Jeunes Compagnies organised annually by the association des Synodales, and its programming at the Théâtre Municipal de Sens.

He left the Ballet of the Opéra National de Paris during the 2018/2019 season to devote himself to teaching, as well as to independent projects as an interpreter and choreographer.
